Wesley Foundation of Greenville

GreenvilleWesley is the official United Methodist student ministry at East Carolina University and Pitt Community College.

We are proclaiming the Belovedness of all students at ECU and PCC and equipping each to create Beloved Community for all students.

We do this through our many activities of fellowship, local and international mission trips, and study and service, such as  our weekly FREE meal at Great Harvest Bread Co. each Wednesday ("Wesley Wednesdays").  During COVID-19, we will be worshipping online via zoom.  New comers can contact us here to receive information on how to join us.

We have been faithfully serving students here at GreenvilleWesley in the name of Jesus Christ since 1941.

What We Believe

As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and witness. To fulfill this obligation, we reflect critically on our biblical and theological inheritance, striving to express faithfully the witness we make in our own time.  (Source: http://www.umc.org/what-we-believe/basics-of-our-faith)

GreenvilleWesley believes the community of those who love Jesus is called to be as wide and deep as possible.  We seek to grow in our faithfulness to Jesus' call to be that type of community by encouraging inclusion of all students in every level of leadership.  This faith commitment applies to all kinds of students as we celebrate the diversity of God's handiwork relative to the breadth and depth of our race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, and mobility.
